The Kaiser Family Foundation and the Journal of the American Medical Association have teamed up to provide a helpful flow chart that shows how people will obtain health coverage once the Affordable Care Act takes full effect next year. While they’ve done about as good a job as could be done to simplify it, their work demonstrates just how complex the decision-process will be, from employer coverage to unsubsidized or subsidized individual coverage through the health exchange, or Covered California here. Still, if you start at the beginning and just answer a series of yes or no questions, the chart will lead you to your answer. Go here for more on the process and the original graphic from JAMA.
